The Copy Supervisor will be actively involved in one major account while supervising 1 or 2 direct reports. The Copy Supervisor is expected to have a mentoring management style. This requires a command of the subject matter and brand strategy and the ability and interest to motivate and coach others to ensure that your team consistently produces great creative work and client satisfaction. Specific therapeutic expertise is not required. That said, experience in product launches and orphan drugs is keenly valued. A mix of DTP/DTC experience is a must, as is some digital expertise.
The Copy Supervisor plays a key role in the agency’s product launches, as well as brand consolidation and new business activity. The successful candidate will enjoy substantial opportunity to grow as the company expands nationally. He or she has a sense of humor, brings out the best in others, and is constantly learning and growing. While process is important, this person is not simply beholden to systems but is most concerned with providing the client with terrific marketing solutions.
Occasional travel to market research and client meetings is expected.
