Position Overview

As a Graphic Designer at CB, you have 2 to 3 years of experience designing, concepting, and executing in an agency or design shop across print and digital materials, with an emphasis on designing for the digital space. Your portfolio is bursting with client work that tells compelling stories, approaches complex design challenges with strong design solutions, and showcases your personal design style. Your dedication not only to what the work looks like, but how it creates impact and affects change in the world, drives you to continually create meaningful solutions.  You’re ready to take direction or feedback and run with it, pushing boundaries with your design options. Our Oakland office has a small, startup vibe, which calls for close collaboration and cultural fit with those in the office, and strong communication skills when partnering with the east coast team. In working with a small team, there is tremendous opportunity for growth and exploration of disciplines that excite you. You thrive in this fast-paced environment, support your art team by providing design solutions across a variety of projects, and work closely with internal teams to deliver best-in-class visual solutions for our clients.

Your day-to-day

  • Collaborate with other designers, copywriters, UX designers, and more across a variety of strategic branding projects in digital, print, and environmental spaces
  • Concept and execute compelling, human-centric marketing campaigns across disease and product spaces, for both patients and healthcare professionals

  • Manage workload, both autonomously and collaboratively with your Group Art Supervisor and Delivery teammates, to achieve deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Take direction from Creative leads as well as internal teams to meet project goals and foster consistent brand growth
  • Continuously learning—about the disease state and/or products you work on, about best practices in your field and craft, about your coworkers and how best to partner with each discipline to create meaningful work
