Having developed both your clinical and creative skills over a broad range of therapeutic categories, you are an important role player in your shop. Take primary responsibility for copy on 1-3 major accounts, owning the various brand strategies and ensuring a steady stream of terrific marketing solutions and great creative work as a result
Concept and brainstorm with an art partner to create innovative, compelling, and strategically aligned brands and tactics
Quickly absorb scientific subject matter and synthesize concise, clear, and persuasive copy
Ensure all tactical executions are accurately written and supported with evidence (annotations)
Participate in ongoing new-business activities and pitch work
Report to and work directly with Group Copy Supervisor
What we’re looking for
5+ years of experience in medical advertising communications on a full range of tactics
An understanding of the drug development and commercialization process and FDA regulatory and medical guidelines
Must be flexible in writing style (eg, should have experience writing for both patient and professional audiences), problem-solving style (one wears many hats at a small agency), and working style (eg, independently and collaboratively)
Must bring an enthusiasm for collaborative team achievement and learning/growing from one’s peers
Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret scientific data, staying attuned to details
Demonstrated organizational, analytical, and interpersonal communication skills
A portfolio showcasing client work, both print and digital
Familiar with agency processes/tools/expectations
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
Comfort presenting to/liaising with clients
Preference given to those with knowledge of user experience (UX) principles and digital experience
Experience working against an established content strategy is a plus
